Niyati

Soft, blue black tresses cascade down over her shoulders and touch at her mid back, their thick length shimmering in the slightest light. Brows in the same shade arch delicately above almond shaped eyes that sparkled in near ebony darkness, complimenting a rather aristocratic nose and gently curving lips nicely; her complection a deeply tanned brown that could easily be considered Igenite. Her frame is compact and thin without appearing wafe-like, her hips and legs showing a softness that carries throughout her body. Feet and hands are small, legs and arms compact, and every movement fluid.

Royal blue drapes from her shoulders loosely, hanging in light folds to her waist where a sunrise yellow sash has been tied to hold the rather oversized garment close to her body. Further down, the hem hangs to almost mid-calf, splits at the sides allowing an easy range of movment. The collar is in somewhat of an A shape, the bodice embroidered with a floral pattern in the colors of a golden sunset, the theme carrying along the cuffs and hem. Trous are in the same material as the tunic and equally as loose, the legs rather large while her somewhat small feet have been covered in slippers decorated with delicate beadwork and hand-stitching.

Niyati's History

Niyati was born in Igen Weyr, the fourth child of her greenriding mother, Siulti, and the only child of her Journeyman Smith father, Braptiniya. As a child, she was always curious, which caused more than a few accidents and taught the overly enthusiastic girl that patience and study were sometimes healthier than diving headlong into experimentation.

Having been raised by her father for the most part, Niyati was always eager to learn anything that he was willing to teach her of his chosen craft, helping him whenever possible and watching him when it wasn't. Chores often kept her away but her mind was always busy with new ways of doing things. Her 'bookish' nature won her very few friends and more than her share of ridicule, the situations sometimes ending up in fights. One such fight ended with her almost hurting someone seriously and, from that day on, she learned to school her temper into usefull activities.

Time passed and, as she became more curios, Niyati was deemed old enough to leave her home and join a craft if she wished. It was little suprised when, after a little packing, she was carted off to the Smith Hall to apprentice herself there. For now, she is a Sr Apprentice, studying hard to earn her Journeyman's Knot.

Samhain

Ringed tail seems to move even when this male is asleep, wriggling here and there. Black body is splashed with patches of chocolate brown in places though not noticeable from afar. His face has two splotches of orange both small in size as well as some smaller smatterings of white in areas. Whiskers and hair are both long and eyes, when open to be seen, are a green color with speckles of yellow in their depths. Stomach is a patchwork quilt of whites browns and greys patterning out nicely and legs are ringed just a bit to drip down to each white paw.
