Scary looking, eh? Well, that's me. Good ol' Irish/Scottish me. I grew up in Ohio (That's Ohiya for all you out of staters;) ) in a little town called Circleville. Don't know where it is? Join the club. It's a little nowhere town just south of Columbus and, if you've heard of the Pumpkin Show (again, Punkin show for all you out of towners) then you've heard of Circleville. That's its one claim to fame.
So, here's the page. Finally got around to talking about me. So, what about me? Well, there's not much to tell. My family came from southern Ohio in the Waverly/Piketon area, my grandfather was a linesman for a local power company and my grandmother raised four children and two grandchildren in a little house in a small suburb of a very small town. My mom, being a child of the 60's, was and still is a hippie and single parent.
I had the average upbringing.. ok, to me it was average. In an area where most children have two parents who are either factory workers or doctors and lawyers, maybe it wasn't so average. Give me my delusions of normalcy. ;) I had the average education and, after several moves, found myself in Columbus. Talk about having Little Fish in Big Pond syndrome! My mother purchased a computer, I found an ISP and it was off onto the internet!
I mention this only because, if it were not for that one move, I would never have met my wonderful friend and husband. We met in a Babylon 5 (that's one of those wierdo nerd science fiction shows for those of you who are wondering what the heck I'm talking about)chat and the rest is history.
So, there you have it. Me. Pern Roleplaying, insane, married me. Maybe there'll be more in the future? Well, let's just hope so. ;)
